How to disable Password after sleep in Windows 10

When your Windows PC is not in use, it is very much advisable to allow the computer to sleep in order to conserve energy but the wake-up process could be annoying when you still need to input your password. 

Although, the Password request feature may be a good measure when you feel your PC is not secured with people around you but how about when you are in a safe zone. This post will guide you on disabling the password request after your Windows 10 PC resumes from sleep.

Follow the steps below to disable Password-on-wake in Windows 10
  1. Open the settings app - type settings into the Windows 10 search bar.
  2. Click Accounts 
  3. Click Sign-in options
  4. Click the change button below Password Policy once to disable password request.
  5. Exit.
That's it! Henceforth, you will no longer be required to input your Password after your Windows 10 computer wakes up from sleep mode.
